Oggi è un giorno speciale: Cosberg compie 40 anni
Today is a special day for us, as on 28th December 1982 Gianluigi Viscardi and his brothers Antonino and Ermanno founded Cosberg in Madone.
Starting up in a small office, in few years they turned Cosberg into a leading company in the automation of assembly systems, which has its headquarter in Terno d’Isola (Bergamo) and branches around the world as well as associated companies reaching more than 100 employees involved.
The pathway to reach this moment has been long and full of sacrifices but nevertheless full of successes as well. A huge “Thanks” goes to all those who have contributed to the achievement of this important goal: employees, associates, customers, suppliers, partners and even who has tried to hinder our business as they have given us the chance to transform difficulties into opportunities.
However this goal represents for all of us just a new start because… we are ready for the next 40 years! Because just one thing has remained unchanged over time: our innovative and forward-looking spirit, which since ever leads the company and makes us able to be a step forward and projected into the future.
And the future is already clear.
2022 has been a year rich of celebrations as well as of important changes since an official handover of the leadership of Cosberg has taken place. Gianluigi Viscardi’s sons Michele Viscardi, who has become the new CEO of the firm, and to his brother Paolo have taken the helm of the company defining already a growth path that will bring on an expansion on different fronts: foreign markets, turnover, and human resources. All this clearly is based on solid pillars that were built in the first four decades of company’s history: keeping high the added value that only steady innovation can provide and the capacity to be true partners for the customers rather than simple suppliers.
