OUR CEO MR. VISCARDI HAS BEEN NAMED "CAVALIERE DEL LAVORO“
We are very proud to announce that our CEO Mr. Gianluigi Viscardi has been knighted for Services to Industry “Cavaliere del Lavoro” by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
On proposal of the Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti and the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies Stefano Patuanelli, the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella has appointed 25 new “Cavalieri del Lavoro” honor. Among them our CEO Gianluigi Viscardi, the only one from Bergamo and from Mechatronics sector.
We congratulate for the important honor acquired. It is a prestigious award fully deserved for his successes achieved as an entrepreneur, but also for his great passion to work, known as a tireless worker, full of ideas and energies. Our CEO is known as a skilled, forward-looking and able entrepreneur.
His commitment goes well beyond the company: for years he has dedicated time and energy to the growth and development of people, encouraging the inclusion of young talents and contributing significantly to the growth of companies, especially of SMEs. A constant commitment that has earned him several important roles: in Confindustria he is a member of the Presidency Team – focused on innovation - of the National Small Industry Association; he is President of the Digital Innovation Hub Lombardia and, since 2020 responsible for the national coordination of the Confindustria DIH network. He also represents the Presidency of the Intellimech Consortium, as well as being President of the Strategic Committee of the Joiint Lab - Robotic Intelligence League Bergamo, the joint laboratory between the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Intellimech on robotics and mechatronics projects for applications in industrial field. Finally, he is Vice President and member of the Scientific Technical Committee of the National Intelligent Factory Technology Cluster, having held the position of President for two terms.
This milestone is the right seal to a life full of many important stages, which have marked the entrepreneurial career of Gianluigi Viscardi, but also the story of Cosberg and of all of us, who are part of this small but large community.
