Directly from the United States and from Russia ...
On Friday, the 4th of December 2015 , we had the pleasure of hosting some students, professors and journalists coming from the United States and from Russia. These guys (escorted by their consequent group leaders) are studying to become professionals in the machine tools field. They spent their time in Italy from November the 29th to December the 5th thanks to a travel award well deserved for their support by working on the project managed by ICE IMTTA 2015 - Italian Machine Tools Technology Awards. During their stay, training sessions at the University of Castellanza LIUC and visits to Italian companies (including Cosberg), museums and research centres (such as the Automobile Museum of Turin and the Polytechnic of Milan) were planned. On Tuesday the 1st of December 2015 in the afternoon they participated at the awards ceremony, which took place at the “Congress Centre Villa Ponti” in Varese in occasion of the Awareness Survey presentation, realized by ICE Chicago, within the Machines Italy Project activities. This competition was organized with the aim to effect trainings of technical universities, making teachers and students aware of the high Italian technology level, maybe of interest for these upcoming company managers and users of our manufacturing systems, or even possible co-operators of foreign branches in the future.
The students who visited our company Cosberg, were escorted by an official UCIMU (the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machine Tools, Robots, Automation) and the Trade Analyst of ICE Ekaterinburg. All participants were really interested and showed a lot of curiosity in our work and our machines. The visit, which lasted the whole morning, ended with a lunch at the “Hotel Restaurant Settecento”, where we continued to dialog with our guests and had a positive interface with them.
